Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground hamburger, cooked
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 can corn including liquid – don’t drain can.
- 1 can black or pinto beans including liquid – don’t drain can (Recommended brand S&W)
- 1 can water
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 3 TBS. ground cumin powder OR
- 1 pkg. gluten free taco seasoning – Read ingredients on packaged spiced goods. (Recommended brand – McCormick Taco Seasonings)
- Optional Toppings:
- Corn tortilla chips, crushed (Recommended brand – Siete Lime Chips)
- Sour Cream (Recommended brand – Daisy)
- Salsa (Recommended brand -Mateo’s Gourmet Salsa)
- 2 avocadoes, mashed
Steps
In frying pan cook ground beef until browned and cooked through. Add cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients to a large pot.
Bring to a boil and then simmer for 30 minutes.
