Ingredients
- ½ pound bacon
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup green onions, chopped
- ½ cup celery, chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 6 cups cooked rice, brown or white
- 4 Tablespoons gluten free tamari sauce (Recommended brand: San J)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Steps
Fry bacon in frying pan. Remove the bacon and cool.
Add olive oil, garlic, green onions and celery. Fry on medium low heat until they are softened.
While these are frying, crumble bacon.
Add rice, gluten free tamari sauce, salt, pepper and bacon.
Once combined, add additional gluten free tamari sauce, salt and pepper to taste
You can make this a complete main dish by adding cooked chicken, beef or shrimp to the fried rice.
