Ingredients
- 6 Baker size potatoes, washed thoroughly
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 Tablespoons coarse salt
- Toppings for potatoes:
- Bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Green onions, sliced
- Cheese, grated (cheddar or mozzarella)
- Sour Cream, gluten free (Recommended brand, Daisy)
- Butter
Steps
Preheat oven to 400°F
Pour oil into plastic bag. Place potatoes in bag and coat with oil. Take potatoes out and roll in coarse salt. Pierce each potato with a fork. Bake potatoes for 1 hour or until cooked through and soft when pierced with a fork.
Take potatoes out of oven. Cut the top of each potato and serve with choice of toppings. If you place the butter, sour cream and cheese immediately on the hot potatoes, they will melt or you can place them back in the oven for 1 minute to melt the cheese.
