Ingredients
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups gluten free rice cereal – (Rice Krispie Cereal brand has malt flavor in it and is not gluten free. Recommended brands, Nature’s Path Crispy Rice, Barbara’s Brown Rice Crisp)2 cups gluten free flour mix (Recommended brands, Bob’s Red Mill 1:1, King Arthur Measure for Measure)
- Chocolate Chips (Recommended brands, Hersheys, Guittard)
Steps
In a medium sized sauce pan, combine butter, sugar and corn syrup.
While stirring, bring to a boil and add peanut butter.
Stir to combine and remove from heat.
Add gluten free rice cereal and stir to combine.
Spoon into greased 9×13″ pan.
Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let them stand until soft from the heat of the cereal mix.
Once soft, spread with a knife and cover cereal.
Once cooled, the chocolate will set up.
